Careers at River City Dental Care
We at River City Dental Care® work best as a "team". Everyone here depends on each other, and helps each other to provide the best quality dental health care for our patients. We do many things here at River City Dental Care® to promote the "team" atmosphere.
We have daily meetings twice a day, one for the staff seeing patients from 8-2, and another for the staff seeing patients from 2-8 PM. The plan is laid out to make each day run as efficiently and smoothly as possible. Assistants are assigned to procedures, and questions regarding lab work or treatment are reviewed.
River City Dental Care® has monthly meetings for all members of the staff. This day includes both small and large group discussions, cross training of team members, continuing education for licensure credit, and a delicious luncheon. When we're gathered for lunch we celebrate those who have birthdays or anniversaries of employment in that particular month.
We also travel to conferences for continuing education and attend state or regional meetings.
River City Dental Care® has social gatherings for all staff and their families. Every year we get together with staff and their families at a park for a summer picnic. During the winter months we have a holiday dinner party for staff and their spouse or guest. Some summers we attend a Cedar Rapids Kernels baseball game together.
